Hello there!

How marvelous you're still here. I honestly cannot believe people still use this place... I left thinking "this place is too complicated, surely everyone will get sick of it" (but I also felt that way about a lot of things) I was wrong, and I'm pleased I was wrong, as this website certainly had an impact on my life, it would be a shame if it was just cinders and ashes.

The reason for this visit is, in part, because (after a (small) mental breakdown) I am still doing my degree... Which means I still have the task of finding exciting new ways to not write my dissertation.

Hello procrastination, how's it hanging?

I also got a new computer recently which meant finally dealing with the hard drives in the loft. On one of the drives I found a lot of stuff I either submitted here, or thought about submitting here. I also found quite a lot of bullshit, but that's not entirely relevant for this article. What I did find was the Angst Face Deviants. If the record companies are still busy with that filesharing problem, maybe I can resubmit it for those who never witnessed.

I can't believe I ever had that much time, enough time to create for fun.

If you're a young whippersnapper like I was when I joined this place. Never stop doing that.

Come to think of it, never underestimate the power of academic text, either. You may be all "fuck reading man, let's just DO!" now, but you'll regret not picking it up sooner. It certainly informs my work a lot more these days.

I think that's about the only advice I have that I'm absolutely certain of, and can feel okay about dishing out. Everything else is still a bit mysterious.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
